Precisely 50 years after its foundation, BMW M is in the depth of a conversion process towards electric mobility. This year the brand presented two fully electric high-performance cars, the BMW i4 M50 and the BMW iX M60, followed by the BMW i7 M70 sedan. However, the Bavarian brand does not seem fully satisfied with the three models and has decided to jump forward, while maintaining a foot in the past, studying a prototype equipped with four electric motors and an integrated driving dynamics control system for performance at the height of the "M".
A multidisciplinary team of developers was fully dedicated to the project. The choice of mounting four motors so that each of them manages one wheel allows access to the full potential of electric driving.
