Citroen continues collaborating with the women's magazine ELLE and presents a new limited special edition of the C3 ELLE. The result of a partnership between the two French brands, the special edition follows a first limited edition that sold more than 9,000 units worldwide in 2018.
"ELLE and Citroen have once again created a modern design with great elegance for the C3. The pastel blue of the new style package Matt Blue stands for spring. This color is currently very trendy, especially in the fashion world. The interior's metallic details bring freshness and light, contrasting with the Alcantara on the seats and dashboard, as well as the leather steering wheel and tinted windows. This creates a feel-good atmosphere in the interior - almost like in your own living room," says Muriel Prodault, Head of Colors and Materials at Citroen.
Both French brands have combined their know-how and creativity in developing the exclusive, limited unique model. With the Citroen C3 ELLE, a modern and elegant vehicle has been created that perfectly suits the active lifestyle in an urban environment. The special edition features a two-tone design as standard, with a choice of two roof colors: white and black, based on the colors of the ELLE logo. Black stands for elegance and sophistication, white for clarity and simplicity. The roof harmonizes perfectly with the available body colors sand beige, polar white, steel grey, platinum gray, and pearl nera black.
The Citroen C3 ELLE is characterized by the new style pack Matt Blue, bringing freshness and modernity to the model. The ice blue accents draw the eye to the Airbump, the headlights, and the decal roof surrounding. The signature of the ELLE brand "Since 1945 & forever" in white letters on a black background - based on the first edition that appeared on November 21, 1945 - adorns the roof decoration of the vehicle. 17-inch alloy wheels and dark-tinted rear windows round off the dynamic appearance.
The Advanced Comfort Seats ensure outstanding comfort and well-being on board. The seat is made of light gray fabric, while the soft and comfortable backrest is covered in dark blue-grey Alcantara. In addition, a screen-printed decorative stripe with the newly interpreted double chevron pattern sets bluish satin accents to differentiate the upper part of the backrest from the rest of the seat.
Alcantara, usually reserved for premium vehicles, is not only used for the seats but also for the high-quality dashboard. The matt gray forms a successful contrast to the metallic blue border and the subtle seams in the same shade of blue. In addition, the ELLE lettering in white adorns the floor mats. The partners Citroen and ELLE logos are also emblazoned on the key ring and the onboard bag.
The Citroen C3 ELLE is based on the extensive equipment level Feel Pack. The valuable technologies that make everyday life easier include electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors as standard, automatic climate control, mirror screen function with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Connect Radio with 7-inch touchscreen, traffic sign recognition, lane assistant, and cruise control. In addition, the special edition comes with a parking aid with reversing camera, four electric windows, a rain sensor, a chrome surround on the digital instrument panel, and a leather-covered steering wheel.
There is a choice of two efficient and powerful petrol engines for the Citroen C3 ELLE: the PureTech 110 Stop&Start and the PureTech 110 Stop&Start with six-speed automatic gearbox EAT6. The special edition can be ordered now and will be in dealerships from the end of July. Prices start at 22,540 euros.
The Citroen C3, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, has got off to a good start in 2022: by the end of March, it had sold around 50,000 units worldwide, ranking third in its segment in Europe. In the French market, it accounts for 37.5% of Citroen sales and is the second most popular car across all segments.
