This year's Italian Grand Prix is a chance for Alfa Romeo to commemorate the inseparable link between the Italian brand and the Monza Circuit, where many memorable moments in motorsport history have taken place. In fact, today marks the centennial of the Monza racetrack, where Alfa Romeo's first Formula One championship was won by Nino Farina in an Alfetta 158 on September 3, 1950.

In celebration of this landmark anniversary, Alfa Romeo is holding the Tribe Days, an international convention attended by brand enthusiasts from all over Europe. There will be 112 collectors present, all members of the brand's official clubs, driving legendary automobiles that can tell the story of the brand's 112 years, since 1910, when the brand first came to symbolize the nobility of Italian athleticism. On June 24, at the Alfa Romeo Club Meeting held at the Arese Museum, representatives from clubs all over the world were introduced to the concept of fan participation. The clubs' reactions have been, as usual, very positive.

The rally will instead feature 100 Giulia GTAs and their owners. The historic Monza racetrack has been inextricably linked to the indelible victories of the brand in motorsport over the decades. On the other hand, the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA is named after one of the most successful models in the company's history and represents the brand's pinnacle of sportiness. After debuting at the Amsterdam Motor Show, his first race was the 1000 km of Monza in 1965. Two cars entered the prototype category before homologating for the touring class. This was just one of many victories he would later celebrate in the Italian city. The Sprint GTA, followed by six other twins Giulia GTAs, dominated the race at the 4 Hours of Monza, one of the most important events in the world for touring cars, so this first experience could be considered a test. There were four consecutive champions at the 4 Hours of Monza. Many more victories followed, including the Piedmont Cup, the Inter-European Championship, and the championships won by the Giulia Sprint GTA-SA and the Giulia Sprint GTA 1300 Junior.

The event will take place in the Arese Museum, the home of Alfa Romeo, where guests will be able to immerse themselves in the brand's legendary history among the jewels kept in the museum collection; and the Balocco Proving Ground, where guests will be able to take part in exciting, dynamic activities like test drives, parades, and track exercises designed to improve the dynamic qualities of their Alfa Romeo.

The two parades at the Alfa Romeo Tribe Days will be the event's most memorable moments. The first is a Saturday afternoon parade inside the Monza circuit featuring the 112 participating historic cars. This is the same track where the F1 cars will compete against each other over the weekend. Beginning at the Arese Museum the following morning, the second parade will take the 112 classic cars and 100 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAs all over Milan, stopping at some of the city's most iconic landmarks along the way.

The parade will begin at the Arese Museum and travel through the streets of Milan, passing the Arco della Pace and the square of the Castello Sforzesco, whose emblem features the Alfa Romeo logo, before passing through the Duomo Square, the Scala Square, via Montenapoleone, the Piazza Cavour, the Piazza of the Republic, and Central Station. Portello, the original site of Alfa Romeo production at the turn of the century, will also be visited; its new incarnation as a Flagship store will showcase its updated visual identity. Once the caravan arrives at the Monza racetrack, everyone will cheer on the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN from a special section of the Ascari and Biassono grandstands.

Every year for the Italian Grand Prix, the C42 will compete in a special livery designed by the Alfa Romeo Style Center. Alfa Romeo's official livery has the brand's signature diagonal lettering and a snake logo from the 1950s, both of which were rethought by the company's designers.

These are made more noticeable by being placed in the middle of the engine cover, and their size is increased thanks to a novel solution that employs asymmetrical design. Because of this, the readings will always be different depending on who is doing the reading.

The brand's name, Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili, is an unbreakable bond with the city and region that gave birth to the company, and the company's logos reflect this.

In keeping with tradition, the Alfa Romeo Museum will host many events and activities during the Italian Grand Prix that are open to all Alfisti. On September 7, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., race car drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu meet with fans and enthusiasts to sign autographs. To accommodate visitors, we will be open until 9 p.m.

The Giulia room will serve as a live broadcast location for the practice and qualifying sessions on September 10 and the race on September 11. The Museum's internal track will be open for fans to drive their own Alfa Romeos of any year or model around on Saturday and Sunday at 5 p.m.
