Following in the footsteps of the Astra GSe and Astra Sports Tourer GSe, the Opel Grandland GSe is the next exciting vehicle of Opel's new electrified sub-brand. SUVs with high performance combine sports car speed with versatility and flair. They have a great driver appeal due to their dynamism and all-wheel drive. They are currently most common in the premium class, but with the new Opel Grandland GSe, a high-performance SUV will shortly make its debut in the popular C-segment.

The new Opel Grandland GSe is a dynamic, competent, and elegant vehicle. We are convinced that it will appeal to clients who want both electrification and spirited driving in their SUVs.

The new Opel Grandland GSe combines a supercharged 1.6-liter petrol engine with two electric motors, one on each axle, for a powerful total output of 300 horsepower. The Grandland GSe is a permanent electric all-wheel drive vehicle with optimum grip and class-leading acceleration capability thanks to the plug-in hybrid powertrain. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 6.1 seconds, similar to that of a sports automobile, and the highest speed is 235 km/h (135 km/h in 100% electric driving).

The conditions for the Opel Grandland GSe's notably dynamic and enjoyable nature, like those of its Opel Astra GSe brothers, are its unique suspension and steering calibration. Opel's sportiest SUV sports stiffer springs and shock absorbers with KONI FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) technology, which allows for variable damping characteristics in the interplay between handling and comfort, with McPherson-like geometry and a multi-link axle. As a result, the Grandland GSe answers quickly and predictably to every driver's demand while preserving traditional Opel stability under braking, cornering, and on the Autobahn, for example.

The Opel Grandland's powerful and pure exterior design is accentuated by GSe characteristic aesthetic elements: 19-inch alloy wheels inspired by the award-winning Opel Manta GSe concept, an unusual rear diffuser, and a GSe emblem in the tailgate. The optional black hood is another distinguishing element of the Grandland GSe. Inside, the sporty front seats upholstered in Alcantara and certified by the AGR seats are yet another example of Opel's seat engineering prowess. They ensure that the Opel Grandland GSe pilot and co-driver enjoy dynamic handling while their backs benefit from the additional comfort and support provided by the excellently ergonomic seats.
